Adapter for flat soled shoe and SPD cleat.

Evening all, help required:

Would these allow me to wear my SPD cleats and use the spd pedals with a flat soled road shoe (has three and two bolt threads but the spd cleat is exposed and I only use spd pedals). Have looked for an adapter to allow this but have come up short. Will probably sell the shoes if I can't use them this Summer.

You need a set of cleat to match your pedals - what pedals have you got? If standard SPD pedals like M520s then you need sh-51 cleats. These are 2 bolts, so if your shoes will take 2 bolts as well as 3 then you are OK.

yes they will allow you to do that ..they act as walk around protection for the cleat

Thanks for that, I wasn't sure that the adapter was deep enough to keep the cleat off the ground. Will give them a shot.
T4tomo,, cheers but the shoe is the problem I usually wear recessed MBT shoes but would like to use the road(ier) ones when the weather picks up.
