However what this means in reality with any address book is your family name never has enough pages!

Only if you come from a large family. There are just 4 of us now, and two live together. The other two I knew in my lifetime are long deceased

My wife asked me to text her an address for one of her friends.
The friend is called Becky, we have always known here as Becky. There was no entry under either B or her surname.
After a frustrating search I eventually found her under Rebecca. We have never called her Rebecca!

It's a woman thing.
