Later amendments to the original act are so vague that anything that could be used to construct a firearm (or ammunition for such) is illegal, unless you have the appropriate license.

There are laws the government could use that way, ifvthey had the power to do so (or back room pressure).

Apparently (according to google) each of your feet has between 7,000 and 200,000 nerve endings.......I would have thought they could narrow that down a bit.
