I taught CLAIT a few years ago. Very enjoyable from the lecturers point of view, but then, teaching adults is very satisfying.

Its worth the effort for me...its a night out and something extra to add to the CV. Once i've done this I am thinking of either the ECDL or doing a Sage course not sure which though.

Dunno mate...I was jus ttold the ecdl is worth a crack..I think sage is probably more useful

I just Googled. Seems Sage is Payroll software whereas ECDL is sort of using Office software like Word etc. So you should easily collect an ECDL whilst simultaneously cracking on with sage. Good luck

Nothing is a waste of time, but reading the stuff you write here you seem reasonably clued up with computers. Why not have a go with the Open University?

There's a new introductory computer course next year which is going to be brilliant.

Good on you for taking the Computer course. I think SAGE is accounting software, as for the ECDL hopefully your current course shall set you in good stead.

Personally, I think that Excel is probably the best software Microsoft has ever made. There is no comparison, as for their other stuff... Well I'm a Mac user, although soon to be Windows man again when my computer arrives
