Bought new from The Cyclestore, Congleton. Assembled by them.

7 weeks in the rear wheel bearing went. Replaced by them.
9 weeks in and the bottom bracket is rapidly getting very noisy. Needs attention.

Reject the bike or take it back for further repairs? ...or something else?

Thanks!

Doesn't sound good but I should take it back and ask them to replace the BB. If anything else fails (difficult to see what) reject it.

Just ask them to fix it. There's no need to create hassle for yourself.

You'll find it very difficult to reject a bike unless it's got a major issue. Trading standards states that you have to allow them an opportunity to repair it anyway within a reasonable time*. If you like the bike I'm sure they'd fix it for you unless it's been tampered with, had the wd40 treatment or used under 2ft water for a few weeks. Just ring and see what they say.

*there is no set time for reasonable!

I personally would probably take it back for repairs one more time; if anything else failed in the near future I'd reject it then.

I've had a couple of Kona Dew's in the past and they ran sweet as a nut for me; they're a very good bike I think. Sorry to hear you're having a bit of grief with yours.

agree with @Jefferson Meriwether
Kona Bikes are very well made.

I used to have a Kona Dew a good few years back, it served me very well with no problems. It was one of the reasons I chose a Kona Honky Inc for a commute bike later.

Yeah agree there mine is nearly 6 years old and the wet weather winter hack left outside all year round T work. But yeah my bottom bracket was replaced in the 1st few months since then it's just consumables.
