Advice on moving between train stations?

This Summer my friends and I are taking a train from London to Nice, with a changeover in Paris to move from the Eurostar to the SNCF. We arrive at the Gare Nord, with an hour and a half to get to Gare de Lyons. We will have our bikes in CTC plastic bike bags, presumably with the front wheel taken off, and carrying our panniers.

My question is, what would be the best way to get from one station to the other in your opinion?

My friends fancy putting our bikes back together and popping in a cheeky visit to the Eiffel tower on the way... Worst idea ever, or doable? any advice would be very much appreciated.

Reassemble the bikes and cycle, but do not be tempted to fit in a visit to the Eiffel tower.. 90 mins is cutting too tight to get the right platform train etc at Gare de Lyon

You're on a cycling holiday which, I'm guessing, will include plenty of cycling. I'm also guessing that making the connecting train matters and to miss it would be rather inconvenient.

Keep your kit as it is and get a bloody taxi
