Evening all
As I'm fairly new to cycling I'm looking at getting a gps computer.
Sadly i missed the garmin edge 200 in asda for £69, couldn't find one anywhere.

I currently have a garmin forerunner 110 watch for running but would be good to have a visable computer.

I've got an old samsung galaxy s2 mobile that I could use or look to try get another discounted garmin edge 200, what do you guys think?

If you think the samsung would be a good idea can you reccomend a bike mount?

Sorry for waffling on

All roads lead to Garmin so sniff out an Edge 200 if that model suits your needs.

GPS slaughters phone batteries so I'd forget the old phone and juet get the dedicated GPS unit.

Or, get a bike mount for your forerunner.

I use Garmin Dakota 20. It provides what I need.
I can upload routes once I map the route on Google. Sometimes you can download GPX files from other sites. I have taken it on tour in Portugal, Vienna- Prague route. Was very helpful.
It has a trip computer which tells me basic data.
I got it for under £100 on Amazon.
