App for drawing routes and transferring to bike gps.

I have an old Garmin Dakota 10 and a 20 which I used to load routes onto from "map my ride with gps".

That site now allows me to add routes that I have recorded by riding them but doesnt allow me to draw routes on the map then load them into my GPS like it used to(Probably would on the pay for version)
Can anyone suggest an app.that is free or cheap that would allow me to draw a route load it to the Dakota 10 or 20 then follow the line when I ride the route.

PS My computer skills are very basic.

If you are IOS then MapOut is perfect for that. Just run your finger along the road.

Ridewithgps.com has free route planning ,it's does have a habit of taking you off road so check the route , personally I use Strava but I subscribe to that

The Hug Maps website also allows you to draw a route on the map and then export it as a file.
