theft damaged bike for sale for spares

sons trek marlin 5 got frame damaged in atemped theft bike was only one month old but wrecked. does anyone know a shop in London that would buy it for spares as a repair is out of the question

Can't imagine a shop buying second hand bits for spares but I bet some of the charities refurbishing bikes on our list would be happy to take it.

Yeah, I doubt they'd touch it - from a liability angle as well as the ballache of stripping everything off and grief of flogging used parts...

I doubt you'd get a shop to pay you money. You might get one to take it as a "trade in" against a new bike, depending on how much you were spending.

You'd probably be better off stripping the bike for parts and selling on eBay, FB, or on here.

I do buy broken bikes but a bike shop is unlikely to.

Like others have put, stick it on eBay with the lowest price you would accept as your starting price, or strip and sell yourself.
