Hi-viz only protects you when the other road user is looking out for you?Only any good if the cyclist is looking....

How in the hell is the OP still alive if he only looks up every 18m or 60m, and presumably never if the road has no junctions...

When I say head down....... I don't mean looking at the cross bar.
I just don't mean looking a mile ahead of me.
(If I had such a narrow field of view, how would I have known that the I passed the car in question at a junction and acknowledged him with a nod)
Please stop berating me, it's a lovely sunny day and I can't yet continue my training.
On the plus side, I can't do the washing up either
