After life?

I agree with a Buddhist's concept on this issue. In summary,
There is no self and therefore there is no soul.
There is no rebirth or reincarnation.
What happens is best described as "re becoming". What is born again is neither the same person nor is totally a new person. Take it as you are lighting a new candle from another one. It is neither the same flame but it does originate from the old flame.
If you ask any more question, my only answer is you need to read about it and it is hard to explain.

Wouldn't like to get too engrossed in the subject on a forum, but I think I'm fairly religious. Can't help how you are brought up as that's where my beliefs come from. If you speak to people who are heading for the exit door, you sometimes get a different response to the one they would have given when they were young and fit.
