With all this news about the high levels of pollution at the moment I was wondering if I should try one of these

Anybody here use one? are they any good do you think at filtering out diesel particulates.

You will use it once, hate it and never use again.

For one, you get far too hot and sweaty wearing them, hard to breath in when working hard, and secondly, the filters do not filter out the really bad stuff.

No point for the reasons Ian' states. You will find them very restrictive if riding hard.

Get a buff , a buff cures all and prevents all ! Its the best thing ever in fact cant understand why its not mentioned here !

Ok on the flat but struggling for breath when climbing will be a problem. Take your chance with the smog,i did today and the only thing that i found hard to cope with was the bloody cold east wind and the damp!

Thanks for the replies, I did not bother in the end, mostly negative feedback regarding the restrictions placed on breathing when cycling hard which makes sense.
