I've been meaning to change mine for a while, but tonight I cut the cable ties holding it and moved mine. On my mountain bike the attachment is just along the handlebars, which was how I had it before. However, on the road bike my finger/hand is never really near it so would need to move my hand to push it.

I've not put it on the left on the drop so it's easier and more natural to use it. Put it there as I figure I can then use it while signally right still. I found it annoying on the other side when I couldn't.

So how do you have your horn positioned?

Haven't got one.Have two of these.

Electric motorcycle horn 6volts.

I have a 12v horn I bought in Thailand and I mean to fit it to the other bike. The motons don't expect it though and it's got me out of a few cars pulling in on me.

It sound similar to a car horn.

Powered by a 6v battery pack which also powers my lights.(and charged by hub dynamo)

Operated by a push button near the handlebars.

When I fit the 12v version it will have a 12v 4300mah battery fitted.Useful on a commute.

As I said to Bugner I will post pics of it in the future and the new one to be fitted on the Audax 2007 at a later date. That's 12volts.

Probably in the Know How section.
