I'm generally a big fan of Aldi gear. At the start of the winter I bought a couple of items from their slightly more expensive line. I hand wash them in warm water after each ride. The dye pours out of the top every time. The photo shows today's wash. It has been washed probably around a dozen times and still the colour comes out.

Pretty poor.

I'd see that a a positive encouragement not to overexert oneself and come back from a ride unsullied by an all over 'blush'.

Are you using a detergent that is specifically designed for colours?

Halo sports wash. Not sure if it's specifically for dyed items.

Looks an interesting product with a lot of features. Just not for colours, but you can't have everything. Some bright and or dark coloured fabrics always lose a bit of colour in the wash. That's why labels say to wash similar colours together.

Don't worry about it.

I wash my cycling stuff on a quick 15 minute wash in my machine as my hands aren't really strong enough to wring out the water. I always use a sheet of Colour Run (I reuse them until they're quite dark) in all washes and there's always a bit of colour run from dark and brights.

That's what happens when you buy cheap shite
All the cheap s***e I've bought from them has been every bit as good as the expensive s***e from the more socially acceptable brands. After all, Altura and Endura were cheap s***e but a few years ago and they suddenly seem to have moved their image upmarket without making any corresponding improvement to the product, yet the brand name willy-waggers trumpet about the "quality". Utter tosh.

What exactly is that? It looks like something a surgeon took from your body.
