Are the following motorcycle items from Aldi on the 3rd any good for commuting?

Motorcycle Lock

I thought the lock might be useful for leaving at work and saving carrying a U shackle lock.

cycle clothing should be made to allow repeated movement without chafing etc, motorbike kit is made to be warm and comfy for a staic body

yes to the lock as long as it's actually good quality, locks and steel tends to be worth what you pay for, a hardware shop will sell you a real chain and lock cheap if you don;t have to carry it around
