By the time I got there almost all the medium jerseys were gone

They were nearly all out when I got to the local yesterday afternoon.. managed to pick up an extra large vest as that's pretty much all that was left and a pair of socks. The vest is baggy but feels comfortable. Hopefully they will get more in.

I didn't expect it to shift so fast, but once word gets around I guess it's all over!

I went for a browse on Sunday, did not really need anything clothing wise, but did pick up the repair stand and some GT85.

I went today and got myself the maintenance stand. Then came home and cleaned my bike without breaking my back and knees.

Keep an eye out at lidl aswell they got cycling stuff coming up... I got to aldi for when they opened ( orders from the boss ) and there were 20-30 people in front of me...( man i hate it when she is right) i got some shorts and a maintenance stand which seem pretty good...i guess we all going to have to be quick off the mark time

Have you used the track pump yet? The last cheap floor pump I bought from Aldi couldn't get 25mm tyres above 80psi and fell apart trying.

No I haven't used yet...I only bought it as a spare but it sounds like its worth trying before I actually need it...I thought £6 was a bit cheap and maybe one of those get what you pay for things...

I bought the floor standing pump on Monday and used it today. Sound bit of kit for the money. :-)

I've tried a couple of track pumps from Aldi and Lidl and have come to the conclusion that digging a bit deeper for a Joe Blow is always cheaper in the long run.

try the phart track pump from planet, was £15 a while back and similar to the Joe blow by all accounts.
