I met a lovely Norwegian lady who, when I asked her name, felt she had to apologise before telling me it was 'Siri'.
I assume the rate of babes being named 'Alexa' in UK has plummeted in this decade.

You could ask Alexa about statistics for the name “Alexa”.

Really, I haven't thought about this feature!
I'm in charge of the building's bins lol, I take a screenshot of the council's calendar at the beginning of the year, then refer to that.
Asking Alexa would be handier!

Ours sends out email reminders about mid day the day before. They did also send outa paper calendar.

Our Council does none of this, but then again, all you have to do is go onto their website and it'll tell you there when you put in your postcode and address.

I have a reasonable memory. I can remember which bins went out last week so know what goes out this week.

Same here, but it's nice if you need a reminder or they alter it during the Christmas period or similar.

I add them to my Google calendar. I don't put my bin out every week so I don't always remember from week to week.

You don't need Alexa for that. Most streets have a Binfluencer..

We have opposite. Someone who always has the wrong bins out first.

I just added the two bin schedules to my iPad calendar and made them repeating. Bank holidays are easy; collection will be a day later than in calendar.

I generally can, though it is a three week cycle for us, not two.

But it is still helpful to have the email reminder - and more inmportantly, those emails also mean they remind you of changed days due to bank holidays, and recently letting us know they were starting early to avoid the hottest weather, so bins had to be out by 5am instaed of the usual 7am (I always do them the night before anyhow).

Yes, 'computer' is one of the options. Sadly 'HAL' isn't.

Ours usually change from the Friday to the Saturday - which wouldn't normally be a working day for them.
