It's not the best beer in the world but it could be the best pudding beer in the world.

Well apparently liver pudding exists. Personally I'm not convinced this is a good thing, mind...

Pork, liver, onions and herbs, minced? Isn't that the ingredients for faggots? Mould that stuff into meatballs and serve with gravy....

oooh, damn, I fancy faggots now, not had one for years!

From the British classics, such as Fish and Chips, to classic deserts like cheesecake to chocolate cake, Indian cuisine, Thai cuisine, Mexican food, Italian food, Caribbean food, Chinese food... The list is endless!

I understand what you're saying, there are some fantastic food choices available, but dishes that contain the word pudding are slightly better. They just are.

You mention Yorkshire Pudding in you OP, but we all know Roast potatoes make the Sunday lunch, so your opinion if flawed

Typical, there you go using facts to attack my belief in pudding.

It doesn't matter how many self evident arguments, proven hypotheses and cross checked evidence you throw at me, you will never change my faith that pudding is the best.

In fact, I pity you because you do not have an unquestioning faith in the supremacy of pudding, and so you must lead an ultimately meaningless and unfulfilled existence no matter how many new and different experiences you are willing to try.

Barnet,
Went out for dinner last night and had this ...

Peppered mushroom suet pudding with chive mash, British seasonal vegetables, Portobello mushroom and Diane sauce.

Very nice!

That does sound very nice. I take it that it was not a vegetarian meal, or is there a way of making veg suet?

I retract my claim that liver and onions is the top dish.

It's got to be leek pudding - more specifically - leek pudding as cooked by my granny in the sixties in the oven of a coal fired range. There has not been a food that I've looked forwards to more than the aforementioned pudding.
