and gold and red and yellow.

I am going out shortly to an Arboretum for a long walk. The purpose of this visit is to kick through piles of leaves. :wahhey::wahhey:

At the same time, I might try and sing:

It will be forever Autumn
or
California Dreaming (which starts "All the leaves are brown")

This activity will be followed by a hot beverage and items of a cakey nature.
Who would lilke to join me?
and what are you going to sing?

I have three spare places in the c*r, and will be leaving in about a hour.
Or you could cycle there, it is about 15 miles from here.

Have you been for a walk on such a winters day?

Sing.......I can see Clearly now the sun has come, I can see all obstacles in my path, gone are the dark clouds that............etc......

I'm sittin' on the dock of the bay
Watching the tide roll away
Ooo, I'm just sittin' on the dock of the bay
Wastin' time

But now they only block the sun
They rain and snow on everyone
So many things I would have done
But clouds got in my way
Ive looked at clouds from both sides now
From up and down, and still somehow
Its cloud illusions I recall
I really dont know clouds at all

Ah, leaves! One minute you're riding over golden, crisp sheets of them, smiling at the loud crunching sounds they make in the winter air. Then it rains and next thing you know, you're skidding all over the place just trying to keep your wheels under you!

There's a narrow lane on my commute that is overhung with sycamores for about 500 meters. I'm not a big fan of sycamores for many reasons, but the leaves are the most astonishing golden colour this year. The light on this lane is golden, and exhilarating to cycle through.

I have now had my second breakfast, off shortly. Crackle are you ready? Any one else, see you there, by the entrance.

Waffles would like to join us, but she has a cold, and should really stay indoors. Yes, mr Beanz, as it has been dry here for four days, the leaves should be quite crispy. And the cakes soft and spongey.

Now where did I put my red dufflecoat?
