No don't because you will get a rotational injury

Last time I head butted the road (16 years ago or so) thanks to ice I had to have a few stitches in my eye socket. The bone still has a dent.

Isn't the rotational injury from pointy wide helmets? Skate board shape type ones or rounder commuter ones were recommended.

I noticed the tongue & It's still going to hurt. :-) I recommend those padded hip shorts for riding on ice too!

To the OP, next time wear a helmet cam. THat would make a great video. You were lucky! Glad you are, relativity, ok.
