I use http://www.ipernity.com/ but I've no idea how well it compares to other services. I kind of accidentally ended up there.

23 was the first I checked out and the join in link is bad, cant find the page.

Will check the others out, although I do have an account for picasa that I've never used. I'm trying to move away from google at the moment cause I feel invaded by google - they have my emails, my calendar, my browsing habits, the things I search for, the videos I watch and I add to my play list, probably they also have the phone numbers of people I speak to, they certainly have the phone numbers and email addresses of my contact list. Until last night they had word documents I had opened with their docs app (I can't remember when) that was cleared last night. There were other things that I don't remember ever using. It's frightening how google have penetrated my life and the sad thing is that there isn't a way out that would fully satisfy me. Microsoft is just as bad, they are all in the same business, trying to make money out of our information.
