After all this excellent advice BK, take a couple of days to indulge yourself- hot chocolate/ marshmallows/plumped up pillows/mulled wine....the works!

Is your daughter OK? If so, providing she's old enough to pamper you safely, encourage her nursing capabilities... start with tea and hot buttered toast!

Take care.

Here kitty kitty ....

I've found you something to keep you warm whilst recovering.

Hey Kitty, that's really unlucky. Definite take it easy time, see physios and things and mend it right. Get thee to a swimming pool if possible, stay active. Only indulge in virtual comfort food which we can post on here  Though I think you deserve to buy yourself a treat to make up for it though. Glad you didn't break it.

Poor you:sad:. And you were having so much fun with the tandem. Do as the doc advises so the ankle mends as soon as possible. And keep posting on here to keep yourself sane:biggrin:.

That does sound really bad, never broken/torn anything myself but had ligament damage on a couple of occassions and know how it can flare up again.

Best of luck in the recovery. Having had my bike stolen last week, i'm feeling the emotional pain of not riding also!

Ouch!

Mucho sympathy.

Every day from now on is a day closer to the ankle being back at 100%. Some days the ankle might feel worse, and it might feel like you are taking a step back. However, even those bad days bring you a day closer to being 100% again.
