After a night spent at a mate's house a week or so ago, I got up the next morning to drive home. Heading west along this road I got to the railway crossing and it was down. I was first in line at the barrier, but about 6 cars ended up waiting to turn right out of Dunswell Rd to go in the same direction as me. At this point a bloke in a new model Ford Focus aggressively and quickly overtook all 6 cars, turned left out of that junction, and did a quick 3 point turn in the road to get behind me.

The barriers went up and I managed to let all 6 out in front of me without any bother. Matey boy followed me for 1/2 a mile flashing his lights and blowing his horn, before overtaking me at speed in the 30 zone (I was doing smack on 30) and then after about 200m he pulled into a driveway..........

I think he was on his way to cure cancer or something, hope I didn't hold him up for too long.....

I didn't read the story at first, just saw 'Yorkshire' and my default mode switched on my automatic 'yes, of course you are' setting. Then I read the story and my default was over-defaulted and I found myself cheering and thinking, 'I bet Mr. Ford Focus was even more of a Yorkshireman so deserved what he got. You should have taken a note of his address and the next time you had a surplus of faecal matter, you could have donated them to him by posting them through his letterbox.

Barnet,
No, of course you're not a bad person. The driver was a nob head. He deserved much more.

How can you be more of a Yorkshire man than a Yorkshire man? I am assuming that CP was actually born in Yorkshire for this question.

There are grade
There's grades. Gradations of degradation, if you will.
There's only two grades. True Yorkshire & wanabe Yorkshire.
Remember, Yorkshire is the White Rose County, pure & clean. Not like Lancashire, Red Rose County.
