Friend of mine told me this week that according to his work mates "he is not a cyclist as he only commutes", they apparently don all the gear at the weekend and cycle to a pub ... that makes them cyclists ... but they don't ride to work. He was rather annoyed by their attitude.
Just be whatever you want to be... as long as you are getting out on that bike and enjoying yourself, it doesn't matter what others think. When it poured down on Wednesday ... I was smiling and laughing at all the car drivers (who probably felt sorry/superior over me), as at least I was moving and experiencing it.
