I have also been doing a little tidying. Two pairs of boots went in the bin!

I'm in the market for some boots, what are they like?

I can guess that by the time you decide the boots should be in the bin, they are well past the stage of being recycled at a shoe bank.

Definitely! Soles completely worn through the rubber, detached and split both at the toe and the heel.

A bit like these but in green suede and canvas with steel toe and sole plate.

So just like those in as far as they wrap around feet, otherwise completely different?

No, pretty much the same, just that the suede and the canvas parts are in green.

lights.... of the bike variety. Just had wonder into TK Maxx and bought a couple of front lights.. more for the quick release brackets than the lights. I have two front lights on the bike (as usual), and another 7 not on the bike (three pairs plus an odd one).... I'm also waiting for my Cree front light to arrive from China I just can't resist a half decent 'seen with' light at a knock-down price... and i always buy them in pairs.
