Am I missing something here?

After spending a while on this forum now, which I enjoy very much, I'm unable to find a catagory which is for the discussion of road bikes, I.e racing bikes. I see catagories for MTB, fixed wheel etc and catagories for time trials and pro cycling but is there a one just to talk about road bikes? Or am I just missing something? Apologies in advance and thank you!

Same here, I only used that term so people understood what I was going on about!

Im not sure a road bike section would be good for the forum . Seeing as most people complain about roadies not waving hello and the like it could be a very empty section

I have 2 road bikes: a Specialized Roubaix Expert SL4, and a Vivente World Randonneur. Funnily enough, both can be used on roads!

BUT they have too many sub-forums IMO
a great place to browse but it all gets too much to follow
i usually visit the C&V section only

well op it seems like you have an excuse for going out and getting a real bike , ie mtb . that way you will not feel left out and you get to see great advice from some lovely people .

@Cuchilo Strangely, I find roadies far more likely to wave or say hello than mountain bikers who are so focused that they can't seem to manage it sometimes
