Am searching for a web site that considers elevation

Have searched high and low and can't seem to find one. Got to be one out there to show me the path of least resistance/fastest between 2 points in Europe?

Planning on my first big trip, London to Africa (via Seville) this December. Bit of time pressure on (leaving on the 10th Dec, need to get to Seville for Xmas) so don't want to find myself climbing hills when I needn't.

Many thanks,

James

Google maps?

Alan...

only thing I can think of is bikehike.co.uk which gives elevation or bikeroutetoaster.com (both cover europe) for your to compare routes, but the best option will be to follow a river/canal or other waterway system and work with that through France at least which should give a flattish if longer route,

If you want to see hights at a glance then the Open Cycle Map (http://www.opencyclemap.org/) is color shaded with reguard to hight.
So its easy to see plains/hills, valleys through hills, etc, etc.

Also there is a tab in Bike Hike (http://bikehike.co.uk/index.php) that brings up this map.
So its easy to swap between it and Google maps when plotting a route.
