I have just done the weekly maintainance routine on the bike i have commuted on all week.I checked the tyres after Fridays ride home in heavy rain and couldnt believe how much glass i removed(some big bits too). I check the tyres after every ride visually and there was no glass there on Thursday.

Interesting. I'm at work today but I had to come in the car because when I came to get the bike out I noticed the back tyre is very soft, and I didn't have time to do anything about it.

I check my tyres before and/or after every ride. It has saved me many a potential puncture over the years.

had my first puncture in ten years the other week. allways ridden xc bikes mostly on road but have just taken delivery of a whyte monpellier hybrid working on 700 x 28c, should i be getting ready for more visits?
