I can see the point of an amber light fixed to the spokes of the front wheel - it conveys all sorts of accurate information, like "bike coming", at roundabouts.

But this? Naaaaah. Sorry.

What next - bikes with 4 wheels and a steering wheel.

Yet another attempt to get cyclists to accept more and more of the responsibility that correctly rests with drivers, and pay for it.
This is more or less admitted on the product website, where the inventor says the idea came to him after nearly knocking a cyclist off on a roundabout. He also says he's a driver and a cyclist.

Doesn't work, is ugly, is blame-shifting/externalisation, see https://www.cyclechat.net/threads/hi-viz-reflective-pros-cons.195317/

I believe Hi Viz does work at doing the job it was designed for in respect of being a very visible type of safety clothing. I wear it all the time, including hi viz ankle bands. At the moment, (in the absence of legislation) it is up to the individual what they wear of course, be it a cycle helmet, hi viz. clothing etc.

With the increasing interest in cycling, sadly and inevitably I believe we will see an increase in cycle casualties on our roads. I also believe that eventually certain aspects of cycle wear will become mandatory. The cycle helmet being top of the list.

Some dick head runs into you at a junction because they didn't look /didn't care spots that thing flashing on the mangled wreck and has a perfect get out of jail free card by saying "I thought it was a moped indicating to turn "

Crazy idea to have a flashing mode on it .

It is good to be visible from the side though but this can be achieved with wheel reflectors , normal lights that show a bit of light out to the side or a head torch.
