give them time - early days.I'm surprised the US/UK governments didn't use it as an excuse to invade a country, kill a shedload of locals and a few of their own military personnel and then claim it a "success"

Yes. I know someone who renamed his home hub SPAM_Central. In the hope that nobody would attempt to log on to it.

I told a friend that there is a suspicion that all phonecalls are monitored by GCHQ/NSA for keywords like 'bomb'. She declared that in future she would insert references to bomb-making into her telephone conversations ...Elderly aunt had to be told repeatedly not to joke about carrying a bomb in her bag at the Heathrow check-in, she still did.
Iahem, a friend used the name of the local police force as the bluetooth connection for a while.
Picking out the bluetooth name of the dodgy types and trying to connect passed a bit of time away.

You are showing your age! Two Spam Fritters? Do you want chips with that?I would on the off chance of a fritter or two being on offer.![]()
I probably should have said that 'the authorities' don't have a sense of humour as I am sure the same would have happened in the UK. I work with lots of Americans and of course they have a sense of humour, it's just different.I only live ten miles from the US border but they won't let me in because I was arrested in the UK in 1982 I was not charged or fined just arrested.
One day I will get round to calling mine "Theblokeat42isatw*t"I suspected my neighbours were using my broadband so I changed the name to PoliceScot_Surv022. Funnily enough my broadband speeds have improved
Americans are thick STOP
That's the thing that puts me off American sit coms, Friends and Big Bang Theory especially.I only live ten miles from the US border but they won't let me in because I was arrested in the UK in 1982 I was not charged or fined just arrested.
As for the sense of humour - it's in the delivery, if you tell a joke straight (British style) nobody gets it but if you are are rolling on the floor laffing they know it is a joke so they laugh whether they get it or not.
