Cycled to work every day througout the snowy season in January. 20 mile round commute. Usually leave home about 5am. I actually rode in on the morning the garden thermometer said -10C.
Devon County Council did a stirling job keeping the roads clear.
About a week later when the in-house magazine was distributed, there was a picture and story of a secretary who had walked 5 miles through the snow on one morning.
Lucky I don`t cycle for the glory of it.
Managed just over 500miles in January and Feb is shaping up to be even more enjoyable.
