Stopped behind a white van at the traffic lights yesterday.

It was a hire van from a firm called "Lobster Van Hire". What caught my eye and I keep smiling to myself, was the little sign on the back that said

"There are no lobsters kept in this van overnight!"

There is a white van in Portsmouth with:

"The only tools in this van are the driver and his mate"

Munters have changed their trading name now because everyone laughed. They are called Polygon now.
In a similar theme the "Jim'll mix it" cement lorries are now just "mix it"

I was in Longyearbyen earlier this year

Because of the danger of Polar Bears all the guides are required to carry weapons, flares etc.

There is a shop that in the window has a large(stuffed) bear and lots of "cuddly toys" for the tourists

There is also this sign:

"Muggensturmstrasse" Explanation on the sign states that there used to be a tower in the city wall nearby called the "Muggensturm". It's amost worth moving here to have that as an address...

"Muggen" could be a local term for Mosquitoes, so it would be "Mosquito tower", but that frankly raises more questions than it answers, especially as the arrow sign underneath says it is a one way street, but does this only apply to mosquitoes?
