From the looks of it the heats really getting to them 40 degrees yesterday and we're moaning at 30.
the man who got heatstroke on a cycle tour in the West Highlands
A heatstroke in Scotland means you got skills

Crass stupidity more like - solo from Skye fully loaded to Gairloch on a very hot day, I spent an evening and a day in my tent throwing up and feeling very unwell indeed. Oh and I knackered my achilles in one leg, so pedalled one-legged to Achnasheen to abandon a couple of days later![]()

I have managed heat exhaustion in Wales. You are not the only one. How we each deal with heat varies greatly by person. Two people can take exactly same precautions during exercise in heat. One gets heat exhaustion. One is fine. The temp at which this occurs can also vary by person.

Once someone's job is producing content which promotes products then I think that's the usual definition of an influencer.
A quick search brings up CAMS, Pinarello 'Pinny the bike', ROUVY, Santini, Selle Italia, Tailfin, Panaracer, Garmin, SunGod, UK Bike Fit, and Milly Grace Jewellery's collection collaboration. Their 'general cycling content ' seems to be heavily monetised to me. It's not just about making a video to promote Boggins Superior Inner Tubes, it's also about being a human billboard. But that isn't really what they do. THey do sometimes promote particular products, but the main thrust of what they do is just general cycling content.
The main reason though is to hilight and raise money for charity. They aim to cycle 18,000 miles in 150 to 180 days while raising over £50,000 for mental health charities Shout and The Mix.
The brands they promote reached out to them i believe, no begging fot support involved. Given her own history with mental health and eating disorders you have to give her credit for going well out of her comfort zone and also Kyle as he's supporting her having left his own building company to ride with her.
