Ticking along nicely. About 220km from Singapore airport, then the Australia leg commences. Sunset 5 and a bit hours away. Wonder if they have a late flight booked for tomorrow or will have a night in Singapore?
Booking flights will be quite the dilemma. Do you go for an ambitious schedule and possibly miss it or be conservative and lose days. I guess they have booked flights you can reschedule up to a few days out.

YouTube is a primary source of income for many through the share of advert revenue they have access to. In the circumstances she was in I expect she was taking a fair number of days off sick so giving the job up was probably best for both her and the employer.

Be interesting to see how they are doing the logistics - planning ahead for rooms - what happens if you have a lengthy delay - say your schedule is knocked off by a day, or are they just booking the day/a few days ahead. Flights are less easy, especially when they aren't that far apart (i.e. from landing in Asia last week to moving onto Aus). What's the contingency if they can't hit the 150 miles to the next stop over - e.g. equipment failure - do they just limp on till they get there.
The heat sounds horrible. Hopefully Aus will be slightly cooler.

The job she quit to go full time YouTube (nhs finance) wasn't the job she quit due to mental health reasons (mental health nurse), which was before she even started on YouTube.
Sorry not fully awake when I typed that, corrected to YouTube. Point remains that those who gain large viewers/subcribers can get a better income from YouTube.

Got to pay the bills though.
I follow another person that quit his teaching job (cyclist that climbs a few hills) and he's not really had much sponsorship from what I can see - some freebies from British Cycling as an Ambassador and some entries to Sportives. He's set a target of a year to see if this works. It's not easy, and I can't imagine it's lucrative for most, and only lasts as long as the 'views' are coming in. He's probably coming up to that year as he would have had to 'pause' the teaching career at the start of the academic year. I follow him for some good hill recomendations.
I also follow a chap that does a lot of walking in the UK, offers a lot of advice etc, but it's very obvious when he's reviewed something he's been given free - the items are always great, never 'rubbish', but he has bills to pay. Similar when he got a freebie holiday to UAE - how wonderful it was etc, etc. doesn't really fit with his more humble wild camping/walking, but hey ho, it's money.
There is a chap that did live local to me that made a mint from gaming - born nearby and a bit of a wheeler dealer at school and college - sold drinks to pay for computer equipment. Got a massive house, but he's had to diversify into other things to keep the money flowing and has made one or two bad decisions. But gaming is a huge market - it can be done, but needs millions of views.
