We gave up waiting in the end and came home. Probably missed them by about half an hour. Never mind, in making the attempt to see them we got a top class cheese toastie and a lovely walk with the dog.

Where are they overnighting, do we know?

They are just over 5 miles from me but seem to have stopped in Henley for a break. Slackers!*

*JOKE! It’s a joke! They’ve earned all the chai lattes and almond croissants they can eat!
That made me laugh as my partner and I have been referring to them as The Slackers daily for much of the trip, precisely because they very much are *not* slacking; whipping along indeed.
Where are they overnighting, do we know?
Amy said sixty miles from the finish and also talked about getting up at 0300 tomorrow, which would be about right for comfortably reaching the finish by 0930 (inside 123 days total).

Tracker distance tonight is 29,428km, by finish tomorrow it will be around 29,550km, wouldn't you be tempted just to keep pedalling past the finish line to get it up to a nice round 30,000km? 😂
Amy works in miles though so probably not.

Ha, see they went through the HS2 works and temporary link bridge and lights today. One more morning and fingers crossed for no mishaps.

They've finally stopped outside, or presumably now inside, an Air BnB in a place called Brinklow, a little over 50 miles from the finish point in Sudbury. A whole four hours now before they get up to leave at 0400, based on Amy saying that they had an 0300 start today :-\ It's a remarkable effort !
