an apology to the chain cleaners

I've rather poo pooed the chain cleaners and fettlers in the past

With my stand and latex gloves I today thoroughly degreased and reoiled the chain, wiped the frame with a damp cloth and then the rims, oh and new brake pads and re indexed the gears, spent rather longer than was necessary making really sure they were going up and down and up and down to the sweet smell of a fresh coat of Finish Line dry lube

third time in five weeks

and I did the lady wife's MTB last time too

I think I've caught it

a month ago I've had said yes

already looking forward to the morning and hearing the silky hiss

new commute too, to new offices in SE1

and I adjusted the low (or high?) stop so the smallest cog runs properly

this cold beer tastes really good, I feel like I've earnt it

productive day, five shrubs planted, five loads of washing and some sundry admin

No. Better than sex. Ok, it's not. But it's good, in different way.
