Very sad. Spent a big part of my childhood laughing at his many sketches. Four Candles still cracks me up every time I watch it.

Oh man, that's sad news. He played and lived at my old golf club, was always nice to see him out there on a late summers evening.

You live near Shirley Church Road then. I saw him several times on the Fieldway estate where his cleaner lives. He was once very kind to my sister who has learning difficulties who knocked on his door late at night, A genuinely nice man indeed.
