Just read through the majority of it and it really gave me the chills at some parts, how it really was "the worst miscarriage of justice of all time". When reading through I noticed there is a dramatisation I think I will watch called "A life for a life"

It really was a shameful episode in English Justice. It led to a change in the law, surrounding the disclosure of unused material, which has been of massive benefit to all concerned, and at the same time led to a palpable change in police attitudes in many cases. Nowadays there is a genuine feeling that if we can't prove a case it shouldn't be pursued. (not that this suits all the Mail readership, but hey-ho!)
