Heh heh ... My grandad was a sewage worker. I never met him (well, apparently when I was 6 months old, I did) but I was told he used to describe his job as "opening the gates to let the sh!t out of Dublin".
Not that bad. I was a "shoot Stirrer" (job title) for a while. Cleaning out the tanks in cow sheds. Stirring it just so it didn't block the pipe into the spreader or slurry tanker.
