Yeh Virgin is so expensive I've had enough, I'm basically paying £80 a month more than I need to just to watch rugby league, surely there's a fairer way? I wish it was pay per view, I wouldn't have to pay for football I don't watch

It's half that price for a season ticket at Saints ;)

I grew up with three channels on the TV and no means of recording it.

Freeview with about 25 channels that may have something on plus a recorder is more than I can deal with so I would not buy more.

As I watch less than 1% of what comes my way for free, why pay for more stuff?

I guess only if they show something like a sport you really must watch that is not on freeview.

Hi all...again,

Well move finally sorted for two weeks time

Gone with BT in the end, infinity broadband and free box only, working with others became complicated as they had to deal with BT anyway to keep number and arrange two visits? Anyway, BT is slightly more expensive but I get a basic box, just a 1 year contract so I can shop around then.

I have an older 32" TV for the spare room, but need a box,ms till looking at android but thought about now TV box or second BT box, are they wifi? There's no usb on the TV although it's hd

What are the cheaper £40 android boxes like? Anyone used one recently ?

You can get the additional channels inc Eurosport for an additional £7 a month.

The additional you view box needs to be wired to the hub and then hdmi to the TV.

If you are using the Android Box for Kodi any reasonably modern pc will do as an alternative.
