My mate at work has an Apple - iPhone 4 IIRC. I have a HTC Wildfire S.

We've yet to find anything that one does much better that t'other. They're both good.

I use an iPhone and have done for 4+ years. I have tried an Android phone, and I'm sure they are very good, but as I'm so used to the iPhone OS Android phones are not for me.

Iphone, do things the way we want you to do them and pay through the nose for it.
Android - What kind of app would you like? would you like to make your own app? hey i reckon there's an app for that already, feel free to do what you want and have a gazillion screens and games and allsorts (just no nudity)

i work in the tech industry so as you can guess i see a LOT of phones go through my colleagues' hands. one overwhelming impression i got was that anyone who got an iphone very very quickly got very fed up with it.
now on android they'd never dream of going back and bid a damned good riddance to itunes to boot.

some people think ios is the be all but honestly its fast becoming the runner up, android sales are way ahead and people are just plain bored of the iphone, there's still fanboi's but i still reckon compared to the desire S or the galaxy S II the iphone 4s is clunky, old and has a small horrible screen (not even super epic LED)

bring on the android revolution comrades!

Being used to a normal call and text only phone, it took me a while to get used to the different way to do things. Now Im used to it, I have it linked to alsorts automatically. Facebook, skype, twitter and icq. And all my contacts are linked to. Its like a mini pc not a phone, it just happens to be a phone too. Iv no doubt people who know about these will be able to point differences out, but Like has been said, Im having trouble seperating them. Other than the different way to do things on them, I couldnt spot much difference. My son says Android has flash and Iphone doesnt, whatever difference that makes?

I'm an Android kind of guy. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against iPhones, it's just that I don't have £50 a month to shell out for a phone.

Im on a contract for mine, its 20 pounds a month with 1.1 gig of browsing, 125 all service minutes, free virgin to virgin calls, 4000 texts, and a free htc desire s which Im told is a very good deal.

Yeah, Android phones generally have lower priced contracts with more data/texts/minutes included.

I'm on £15 per month for unlimited data, 300 texts and 300 minutes - along with a HTC Android phone, which suits me perfectly. Sadly unlimited data contracts have been becoming rarer and rarer lately.

Talking to my son who gets one gig a month, he says he doesnt use all his and he is on it all the time. So Im well covered for my few minutes here and there daily.

I abandoned my iPhone within three months and gave it to my daughter and went back to using a Nokia 5800. I was then tempted by Panter's bargain priced HTC Desire HD on offer in the CC 'For Sale' section and bought it in July. I'm still smitten by it.

I don't think that it's a matter of which phone is better, the iPhone is clearly better than a Nokia 5800 on nearly every front yet I preferred the Nokia, but which phone best meshes with your mindset and lifestyle.

My son in an unwavering supporter of all things Apple and can see no wrong in any of its products. I'm happy with Apple computers and iPods but I can't get on with their phones.
