Just that really - I want to do a few simple edits to photos on my Nexus 7 tablet - basically cropping and downsizing photos from my cameras SD card via an OTG cable - I have had a look on Google Play but most of the photo editors seem to concentrate on adding "effects", creating fancy collages or adding flowery text

Dont mind paying for something good - Any suggestions?

On my android which is a Sony, the basic in built editor does at least what you're looking for.

I use Photo Editor - www.iudesk.com. Free and paid-for versions available. Crops, resizes, brightness, etc.

That looks pretty good - Ive just downloaded adobe photoshop app - which should be good but i havnt tried it yet - however, there is no such thing with adobe as a free lunch - so my next stop may be your suggestion

Snapseed is possibly the best photo editor on android bht it doesn't have a resizing option.
For resizing I use https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&s...xzlV8ERHyEeYJ84Vw&sig2=HbfbltSCNoWYATs7BEG2Eg

Honestly Picsart has resizing, editing, cropping, stretching, enhancing adjusting, curving etc and is very easy to use.
Also has features such as red eye correction. Plus its free and easy to use.
