Has anyone got bikeroutetoaster working on an Android tablet? If so which one? I was having a play with a few in the shops yesterday but it didn't want to work properly, it wouldn't let me zoom around the maps.

If you're planning to upload these routes onto a cycle computer the question should be can you do that which is probably no. Unless it's a particularly complicated route then do it on the computer you plug your gps into. Look at bikeroutetoaster website and note that under supported browsers they don't mention tablet based browsers so it's quite possible the tablet versions of firefox and chrome don't fully support it.

The reason for looking at tablets is partly to reduce the holiday luggage allowance. The latest batch of tablets have usb ports and/or various SD card ports so transferring routes should be easy enough. There's still a long list of tablets to try so I will keep looking and report back if I find anything that works.

You need the drivers to connect across usb and the drivers have to be preinstalled as part of android usually, it won't download and install new ones.
As to sdcard support I'd suggest doing a search against your model of gps on that score as transferring to sdcard on tablets can get interesting.
