Got it in one! There are too many angry people about because people expect and believe they have rights and entitlements to anything and everything, regardless of whether they've earnt/deserve it!

Nah, most of us are just bitter/twisted/sad/etc/etc/ delete as appropriate....we may think we're angry but we've forgottoen what proper anger is.....failing to keep down the shoot you're fed isn't anger it's just reflux and you can soothe it away by 'hating' on someone else.
The young, now they can still get proper angry, they lack years of practiced hatred to soothe them, some of the young idiots don't even see why hate should be such a balm. They lack the jaundiced, or fatalistic, view that age brings and they haven't yet given up on their ideals, let alone begun to pretend that those ideals were really just poorly founded dreams. In fact the young seem to be starting to think that not only are current conditions shafting them but that maybe that shafting is inherent within the systemic structure.
My biggest fear is that it gets so ugly, so fast, that I don't even have time for a 'told you so'
