A really good weekend: lovely setting, events all weekend, fantastic food and drink with a bit of riding in between,
If you want a lot of riding and less food and drink you can do the long route on the Saturday which is rather more serious , :bicycle:then a gentle Sunday ride with a four course linch included:hungry::cheers:

Comfy armchair to one person & a plank to the next
Linch? ;)

Resolutely on topic
I was touring through France a couple of years ago and happened to ride through Saumur on the day of this festival. It looked like a really fun event from what I saw.

Which route did you ride? We know the area well (it's about 90min N of us), but after my experiences in Tuscany with Eroica I've become a bit hill-averse! Have you heard about the new event which launched in Cognac last year? Looks promising, and run by a vintage bike nut.
