Got my clipless pedals this week. And after 1 commute I have had my first moment. Everything was going fine, until I pull behind a truck who pulls out whilst the driver is on the phone. So that has already agitated me. He then stops, and I forget my feet are clipped to the pedals
. Next thing I know I'm falling in slow motion - on a busy road full of traffic and pedestrians everywhere. Quite embarassing.
Heard someone shout 'are you okay' as I cycle off, so I praise that man - sorry I didn't stop, was too embarassed at that point. Luckily no damage done, and I have a very cautious 8 miles on the way back.
And then to be told 'keep those legs going' by a girl no more than 8 years old, whilst finishing a small hill climb. Not my day eh.....
