Another day, another SMIDSY.

Yep, I got flattened again. Another cretin at a give way, drove straight into me, despite hi vis you can see from space, and good lights. Unlike last time, I didn't let this one go. I got the BIB involved, and I'm going to claim against his insurance for a new bar grip, and a new cycle jacket (it's torn). He was breathalysed at the scene, and got a yellow light. They didn't arrest him.

I believe so yes. This particular box had three lights. Green yellow and red. The police chap, said that if the thing goes straight to red, they nick the driver, and take them for an evidential test at the station. Green is no worries, and a yellow is discretionary. If the officer believes that the driver may be unfit to drive through drink or drugs, they an treat it as a red.
