I do wish the BBC would report things properly.

Tributes to 'loveable' grandad killed in Burnley e-bike crash

There was no e-bike crash. This was a collision with an electric "Sur-ron" motorbike and the 18 year old riding it needs to be appropriately charged.
Hopefully he will be.

Oh - and lets find a rule that says the term "e-bike" is reserved for electric bicycles.

The news report would have been much more accurate if said killed by an illegally ridden motorcycle. Also why have their got the rider but not the sur-run e-motorcycle? How on earth can the rider be released in this situation. I don't get what is going on here, he killed someone while riding illegally.

What the difference between an e bike and a electric motorbike? is it power output?
