Thank goodness you are OK. I didn't stop as you had many folk around you - you possibly heard me ask if they had called the ambulance, then start cursing that another cyclist was down.

Get any witness details, if you don't have specific insurance, call your home policy providers as you often get free legal cover. Failing that, then contact Leigh Day or Russel Walker Jones or Alison France solicitors - all are cycle accident specialists.

Any advice just ask ! I'm a bit of an expert on it now, as are others on here - 3 years 3 months since mine and the legals are still going on (and my pain).

PS the driver has no excuse for pulling out if they can't see. I had my lights on this morning due to the low sun, and that's an accident black spot there !

Yep, glad you're OK and it sounds like it should be a 'relatively' simple claim - I don't think there's too much for the insurers to argue about.

I did hear the ambulance comment (thanks for stopping fossyant) and one from someone suggesting they should "get my bike from on top of me". Forgot to mention, GMP and the Ambulance Service were fantastic today.
