So after my morning ride with my son I took my Daughter to an outdoor market for golf balls of all things, She is going to be the new Seve Ballesteros..one day, does every Daughter have their father sussed? She even had me digging a hole in the lawn to practice putting into
. The market is near Redruth and a stallholder had recently started selling older Bicycles amongst his toilet seats and faded carrier bags of spanners and Delia Smith dvds, but sucker as I am for a Raleigh badge I stopped at an ageing Mountainbike it was a Raleigh Peak with a Reynolds Badge K2 Cromoly! oh the joy.. I could feel the clouds racing over head as the world went quiet..
and then I saw the deore lx everything and I knew I was lost, The seller wanted £40 so I offered £20 as I've seen them do on the telly and he bit!. It might not be much but it made my day, the brakes work well and the gear changing is passable,and I will use this as my transport where I have to lock it up for any length of time.
